Today is the 21st of June 2021 and in two days we will be celebrating Saint John's night. I've made a PDF to make it easier for you to celebrate this vital time of the year with your friends and family. Get in contact with me and I'll send it to you.

" Dear ones,

Today is Saint John's Day & Night and we are here to celebrate the Summer Solstice.

You have in your hands a paper where you are going to write a wish at every new moon. This requires your attention on the sky at night as well as on the moon calendar, depending on the real chances you have to behold the sky from home.

Today we are writing the 1st Wish, on the first line, and we know that words can bring us magic!

As you can see on the paper twelve solar signs appear on the left, starting with Cancer and ending with Geminis, whereas the right column starts with Capricorn and ends with Sagittarius. Why? because during these days of June the sun is in the house of Cancer as well as the new moon; the full moon, by contrast, happens in the opposite house, that of Capricorn.

The task is to write every desire on the blank space of each month or axis and, if possible, with a nice, clear handwriting. This is an opportunity to put in practice your hand lettering skills in English.

Have in mind while writing your intention that each new moon (when there is no moon reflecting the light of the sun) is the perfect time to seed, and every full moon (when the moon is receiving all the light) is the perfect time to harvest, recollect or acknowledge some materialisation of the written statement.

The cycle of the moon is much more complex, but I'm going to simplify it in its 6 axis. (Click here to see them in more details.) This cosmic rhythm or phenomenon can be seen with the naked eye every month if there aren't many clouds. It serves you for all kinds of enterprises, not just for gardening.

Now, if you have the Wishlist from last year, let's throw it to the bonfire with the Laurel leave or the Hypericum Perforatum and the Lunaria Plant.

We are initiating some new cycle here; see how the element fire is being ignited right there, in front of your eyes... and be aware that today or tonight the sun is moving from an air sign (Geminis) to a water sign (Cancer). What does it mean this movement to you? It may help to know who Saint John was, if not, simply connect with your emotions, they'll guide you.

Here we make silence. We can't -and we shouldn't- explain everything. We let us feel, we silent the mind.

Now... after a while... we are simply feeling, not reasoning or measuring the time. Words may arise, refreshed or reborn, from that sacred, silent-inner space that feels like Home. An emotional immersion has befallen that only the water from the second house can give to our body and spirit. If you listen carefully to them, they sound like the magic words and it's about time you write the 1st wish on the new list.
