WORDS FIT, WHEN SILENT IS HEARD

male Words & female Silent (Yin & Yang)

WORDS FIT, WHEN SILENT IS HEARD

and vice versa. Or "The yin & yang voices".

I will start by saying the Language Coaching purposes of this writing:

Firstly, with the reading of this article you are going to practice 8 of my phonetic exercises. So, find the words in the text that appear transcribed in each chart and make sure you are saying them right. These words have been carefully selected as they are commonly mispronounced by Spanish speakers.

Secondly, I had the urgent need to express myself freely mixing different subjects such as: Phonetics, Psychology and Symbolism. I hope you find it inspiring.
Let's start!

If you have heard of The four Worlds in Kabbalah or read Dr. Pat Allen's book Its a Man's World and a Woman's Universe, you probably will understand the purpose of this writing and me better; because this article is in its essence a kind of a papyrus that I am unrolling in front of your eyes, a  golden pot holding the manna to me and to whoever reads it slowly. It is an unexpected gift received after years of work and study. Every word and picture has been carefully written and designed to explain my discoveries.

phonetic exercise 1

The hexagram above is a compound of two equilateral triangles and they represent the two opposite and complementary energies or voices that every human being has.

Consider the term "voice" similar to "energy", as in the evolution of your voice many active and passive roles have been alternating from the moment of your conception up till now.
Do you remember the timeline from my article about the ruling planets every 7 years? well, that can also give you some guidance to recognize in which stage your voice is now. Native or non native language, the path is the same. It is just a matter of time invested on polishing the language. An that includes all short of studies, readings and even auditions for acting and singing.

"For everything there is a season, a time for every activity
under heaven"
(Ecclesiastes 3:1)

I have summarized  the progress of our voices through space and time in this way:
As day alternates with night,
Yin is learning how to dance waltz with Yang.
It might sound corny, but... hey!... It is that simple.

phonetic exercise 2

Let's put the female or feminine voice first... why? because we first need a space to dance or to be filled, right?
This primordial initial contraction was in the XVI century coined by Isaac Luria as "the TZIMTZUM", in Hebrew צמצום ,"contraction".

Here you have the chart I have created to symbolize every female voice. (And it is not restricted to a physical woman, this goes beyond genders)

Female Voice (Yin)

In its design, this inverted triangle or cone is open to receive and in its womb"the animus" is being incubated, is being formed. In Jungian psychology "the animus" is what or who she honors and respects. It is the masculine part of a woman's personality: her expression of power.

In my language coaching, I would even say that the combination of this primordial duality (restriction vs expansion) makes the feminine voice a perfect channel to limit the unlimited. That's why the cone is inverted, from above to below, from infinite to finite

So, consciously - or outwardlya women voice is introverted, but inwardly -or unconsciously- fully active.

To make it easier, outside this three-sided polygon, I have placed the symbol of Venus - a hand mirror to the naked eye- with a concrete description of what I consider the main features of a female voice:

She, her voice, (and I don't mean physically a woman) is good listener, a voracious reader, studious, intuitive, contemplative and more oriented towards non-verbal communication although her power will be sooner or later manifested and even embodied.

That's why SILENCE is her reign. Her SPACE or concavity makes any sound possible, audible. She meditates on the received words. She is an incubator, she is protecting something in its early development.
To give you another reference: you can describe it as "the priestess" (card number 2) within the Tarot's tradition or "the inner voice" in "Tarot in the spirit of Zen" by Osho.

phonetic exercise 4

Now it's the turn to the male voice. (And, again, it is not restricted to a physical man, this goes beyond genders)

Male voice (Yang)

In this chart above you can see that the equilateral triangle or cone with this shape is pointing to the sky, and in its base is open to give.

Outwardly - or consciously- he is extroverted (see the male or Mars symbol outside), whereas inside -in the unconscious- protects and cherish "the anima", the feminine part of a man's personality: his expression of receptivity and sensitivity.

All together can be seen as a blazing fire, spirit or vital force. This chart symbolizes the principal characteristic of the masculine or male voice: its conquering power. Pure potential, this voice gives shape, form; in short: it creates through sound.

phonetic exercise 5

He, his voice, (and I don't mean physically a man) is spontaneous, talkative, logical thinker, a rhetor, completely oriented towards verbal communication and its performance through writing or giving speeches
When male voice talks or writes about anything, he is thinking out loud. In other words, he hasn't given to the matter a great deal of thought before expressing himself. That's why verbal communication in this voice is an inborn talent. He is thinking and he arrives at some astonishing conclusions as he is talking or writing.

phonetic exercise 6

That's why "the SOUND" is his main activity, his MOVEMENT or conquest makes every space filled in vibration. His "music" is being played, his song is being sung. He is a warrior with a vital sacred force inside. He is definitely who breaks the ice when nobody knows what to say.
To give you another Tarot reference, you can see him as the pontiff (card number 5), a mediator, whose mission is to unify what appears separated. He incarnates the blessing ("bendecir" es "decir bien" de algo o alguien). He is the frontier between the words and the inconceivable. In Osho Tarot is called "the no-thingness or in Sanskrit "Sunyata", pure potential.

phonetic exercise 7

These two voices, the female and male, complement each other and of course other range of positive and negative archetypes inside the "anima" and "animus" can be classified and registered in the process of finding your own voice, but for now,
let's keep it simple.

SlLENCE is HEARD WHEN WORDS FIT.

I must cease. You've already heard enough.
Yes, I leave you now on your own to answer this question: which one do you acknowledge first?

Enjoy your Eureka moment.
