SUMMER, Oh for a Muse of fire!

Dear teachers,

Here you have a sample of how to train your defence of the Syllabus Design and polish your speech and get the right timing.

These are just 4 videos I created after my experience giving the speech of the Syllabus Design last 17th of July 2023 in front of the board.

I warn you that I failed and did not pass this second part, so, don't copy me! It's probably full of flaws that I am now trying to spot and solve. But there are many things that we can still learn from this failure.

Why did I make it with a presentation?.... to have some guidelines and not to get lost in my own divergent thinking during the 20 minutes I had to defend it, and with the aim to be more appealing.

Not to bore or confuse the audience were- and always is- my principle goal. This, I'm afraid, has not been fully achieved yet.

I did my best to summarise the 80 pages in 26 slides. The recording of my training took me 1h as you can see and hear, which is usually what happens in the rehearsals. The design was created with Canva and I used as much as possible my own pictures, except for two. You can find some of those pictures in my unsplash portfolio.

Now I have the time and the opportunity to review what I did, find the errors and mistakes and to change what needs to be changed.

I'll light a metaphorical bonfire and burn it (the syllabus, of course!) till it gets purified. August is the perfect time for a Gemini like me to do so -sun in the 5th house, pure Phoenix- in San Lorenzo de El Escorial. 🔥🌿😉🌿🔥
